I will allow myself liberties and distract from the main characters. Just because I do not want to deprive you of the pleasure of getting to know these complex, interesting personalities yourself, and not with someone’s words.
And why do we all, in fact, know who Zak Snyder is?
And the reason is simple: he took off amazing “300 Spartans”. More correctly to say: surprisingly beautiful 300 Spartans. The film was scolded for voidness, semantic non -load, but no one said anything bad about special effects and production. Every second frame I went to get in a large resolution and put it on the desktop.
So: “Keepers”, unlike “300 Spartans”, have simply titanic depths, subtexts and plot fullness, but at the same time retain the visual style of the snider.
In addition to filling and the most beautiful picture, I personally want to note 2 points:
– The most beautiful musical design of the film. Most of the songs used in the soundtrack somehow lit up in the original comic book, and the music written specifically for the film is very good.
– just phenomenal attention to details. The number of small, seemingly insignificant details in the frame are sometimes just striking. When I was reviewing the film once on the 7th-I still found something new, which I had not paid attention to before. And at the same time-this is not just there some sheet that flies in the background, but some important element that carries in itself some kind of load.

But you need to understand one simple thing: keepers are not a snotty romance in the spirit of “Twilight” and other “deep” films for teenagers. This is a very lively, cruel, smart and in some places a dirty story with many sharp corners that you can run to, with sharp people who prefer to have their own opinion and do everything in their own way. Politicians – bastards, inhabitants – mostly limp and faceless mass, the press chases cheap sensations … Hands break in the frame, blood flows and a naked blue man occurs occasionally.

I hope now you understand why I got out of the cinema, like a bumped. Instead of the trash I expected, I saw a very deep, beautiful, rude and honest film about living people, and not saturated with meaningless pathos of morons in costumes.
Yes, and finally I want to say that the keepers are one of the rare cases when dubbing does not spoil the film at all. The voices were selected very well, the actors of the voice acting-they played perfectly, and translators for once translated everything competently and beautifully. Rorshah sometimes can be heard.

Summing up, I would like to say that the film in my personal film wealth is one of the first places along with the fighting club, the city of sins, a saw and several more comrades, about which (if this review is successful) I will also write.

Snyder threw out a lot of things, but I want to notice this: the film without a comic book is quite watching and not so much and loses in the depths.
